Beijing to issue social insurance cards
Social insurance cards will be issued by Beijing to 10 million citizens. The card will be used initially for medical insurance and will replace all cards currently in use. In the future, it will be used for pensions, employment and other services.

Europe: Ruling on dismissed pregnant worker rights
The European Court of Justice ruled that if the only remedy available to dismissed pregnant workers under a member state’s law provides inadequate time in which to bring proceedings, that law is discriminatory. A 15-day period is short, the ECJ says.
